Crooked Sky Farms, located in Phoenix, is owned by Frank Martin. Frank, like so many, started with a simple dream and a garden in his own backyard. In 1999, he took that tiny garden, expanded, and started selling at farmers markets. Now, Crooked Sky Farms grows and supplies fresh produce at Farmers Markets and CSAs. They're based in South Phoenix but also farm in plots around the Phoenix Metro area. During summertime, they grow most of their food in and around Duncan, Arizona.

Orchard Community Learning Center, Desert Botanical Garden, TigerMountain Foundation, Unlimited Potential, and the Roosevelt School District wok on this 19-acre project, Spaces of Opportunity. It includes an incubator farm, community gardens, healing walkways, and native plants, farmers market, and an open community space. The Orchard and Desert Botanical Garden coordinate this community farm space.

Golo Organic Family Farms was established in 2009 through the International Rescue Committee New Roots program. The program is designed to help refugee farming families achieve food security, self-sufficiency, and economic empowerment through their agricultural businesses. The Golos now farm on their property in Litchfield, AZ and are currently raising funds for a new well.

In 2007, Hussein Al Hamka and his family abandoned their 75-acre farm in Iraq. After spending two years in a refugee camp in Syria they resettles in Phoenix in 2009 with the help of the International Rescue Committee. Growing in South Phoenix and in the west Valley, Hussein grows specialty varieties of vegetables including his famous cucumbers and melons.

Phoenix Pinnacle Farms specializes in heritage grains, vegetable, and fruits and is located both in Waddell, and South Mountain. Growing White Sonora Wheat, Red Fife, and Chapalote corn, along with a great selection of specialty veggies and several items from the Slow Foods Ark of Taste.

The 1200 tree orchard is nestled at the base of South Mountain and the self-serve farm stand has a smattering of unique offerings during the season. Stop by and check it out especially during peach season!

Steadfast Farm is a two acre bio-intensive market farm in Mesa, AZ. They grow certified organic fruits, vegetables and flowers and raise pastured poultry for eggs year-round. They offer their produce and eggs through a CSA program, farmers markets and local restaurants.

As a family operation, the Justice Brothers ranch specializes in two of Arizona’s five Cs: citrus and cattle. They offer commercial sales of organic citrus: Redblush Grapefruit, Navel and Valencia Oranges, Minneola Tangelos, and Lisbon Lemons. Their herd has changed over the years, but their cow/calf operation is comprised of proven Charolais/Hereford/Angus producers that any ranch would be proud of.

From the beginning of TigerMountain, gardening has been at the center. The foundation brings people of all races, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds together. But gardening at TigerMountain is more than just a pastime, it’s a classroom where they’re teaching life skills.

Sun Produce Cooperative (SPC) is a multi-stakeholder co-op that includes producers, distributors, buyers, and market specialists. The co-op's most active 8 growers currently have about 215 acres in production.

Planting and harvesting year-round, they offer a variety of more than 80 fresh and local items per season. Sun Produce also provides to schools, institutions, wholesalers, and retail. SPC has the ability to aggregate and deliver orders, as well as grow specific items for specific customers.

Maya’s Farm is a small farm operation that produces high-quality specialty vegetables, herbs, flowers, and eggs for local markets, restaurants, and schools. A community-supported agriculture (CSA) program gives subscribers a supply of produce that is cut by hand in the field.

Zach Brooks & his team run Arizona Worm Farm. They are a functioning farm with chickens, vegetables, and lots and lots of worms!  They have mulch and worms available and their compost is perfect for Arizona gardens.

Known as Phoenix's hidden gem, The Farm at South Mountain offers organic gardens, three restaurants, an art studio, various shops & retreats in addition to hosting a CSA and farmstand.

Rhiba Farms is located in San Tan Valley, AZ, providing the Phoenix area with access to naturally grown, nutrient-dense produce. They only sell what they grow!

Established in 2008, Community Exchange Table is a cooperative community booth that represents multiple smaller growers, agriculturists, and artisans. It allows businesses to sell their surplus produce or goods to the community while relieving the stress of staffing, equipment, and processes for selling. They represent farms such as Hadley Farmship, Holiday Farm, and Arrandale Farms.

Drinking Gourd Farms is building a network of Black gardeners and farmers focused on the physical, mental, and spiritual health of Black people through agriculture, political education, environmental stewardship, and culture-rich healthy cooking.

They are developing a collective food sovereignty practice across Phoenix that is securing independent, community-determined healthy food sources that liberate Black people from the industrialized food system.

Crow’s Dairy is a small Grade A Farmstead Dairy in Arizona. Their mission, as a multi-generational dairy family, is to offer superior quality farmstead dairy products from Purebred Nubian dairy goats. They are dedicated to providing excellent care to their animals and unrivaled service to their customers.

The farm is located in Gilbert AZ, in the heart of the Agritopia community. Owned by the non-profit Johnston Family Foundation for Urban Agriculture, The Farm at Agritopia is made up of several components demonstrating a model for urban agriculture.

Locally owned and operated with its roots in the Valley of the Sun. At Southwest Mushrooms, 100% of their gourmet mushrooms are freshly cultivated at their urban grow farm. They utilize a high level of hands-on expertise, in the clean food growing process. Producing A+ quality mushrooms, containing awesome taste, with health properties second to none! Owner and urban farmer, "Mushroom Mike" enjoys sharing the science of growing mushrooms while exploring new ways to use them in culinary cuisine.

Established in 1919, Sossaman Farms is a 5th generation Arizona business. Family owned and operated, the Sossamans are an institution in the Queen Creek community. Annual products include corn, cotton, alfalfa and small grains.

Nestled in the city of Phoenix, amongst the bustle of a sprawling metropolis there is a two-acre farm. It is a place of serenity, where time has no meaning and nature flourishes. This is Arrandale Farms, a unique urban farm that is focused on growing and producing nutrient dense food for their local community.

Horny Toad Farm is a woman-owned, family farm right here in Phoenix. Farmer Stella grows her produce using all-natural growing methods and her farm is pesticide-free. She believes in bringing nutritious healthy food to people – which she does through several farmers markets and a Farm Sack CSA Program with pickup locations throughout the valley.

Project Roots AZ was co-founded by Bridget Pettis and Dionne Washington in late 2019. Project Roots is a non-profit organization based in Phoenix, AZ that focuses on educating the community about growing their own food. They also support those with food insecurities by feeding them from their local community gardens and mobile kitchen service. Project Roots AZ offers seasonal produce bags and can be found at farmers markets throughout the Valley.

Blue Sky Organic Farms is a family farm located in Litchfield, AZ. They/ve been farming in sunny Arizona since 1995. They grow 100% of the produce offered and are extremely proud to be Certified Organic. With a chef's background, owner David Vose, grows vegetables that harness all the qualities a top restaurant would want.
